AS IT HAPPENED: The Wallabies have been blown away by a second-half blitz from Ireland, the hosts running out 46-19 winners in Dublin.

The first hour of the clash saw a tight contest, a Mack Hansen hat-trick stunning the visitors before tries to Len Ikitau and Fraser McReight saw the Wallabies head to the sheds 19-14 at halftime.

However, after a Sam Prendergast drop goal, which broke the deadlock after a tense opening 20 minutes of the second half, the Irish kicked into gear.

Tries to Caelan Doris, Ryan Baird, and Robbie Henshaw saw the hosts gallop away, with Jack Crowley's boot also enjoying a perfect night.

With Nick Frost also sent to the bin for a high tackle, it ended an ugly night for Joe Schmidt's men, with the high ball continuing to be a major issue, and the Irish dominating the lineout.
