78': Wallabies rolling

Wallabies 38-22: James O'Connor keeps rolling back the clock and delivers another classy touch for a 50-22.

The South Africans are stunned as the Wallabies look to cement the win, but are held up over the line.

75': Wright seals win in chaotic scenes

Wallabies 38-22: The Wallabies are home after a wild sequence of plays puts Tom Wright over.

The Springboks race away and look certain to score before a mistake delivers Wright a chance to attack.

Wright beats the fullback and that'll do for the Aussies.

72': McReight up and about

Wallabies 33-22: Fraser McReight is having a blinder around the ruck.

The Wallabies comes up clutch with his third breakdown steal after the Springboks try and run their midfield lineout/rolling maul and are left isolated.

68': Wallabies digging deep

Wallabies 33-22: The Springboks are throwing everything at the Wallabies as the visitors hang on.

They again burst into the 22 but the desperate scramble defence forces the mistake for Tate McDermott to clear his line

65': Magic Mac

Wallabies 33-22: Max Jorgensen continues the golden run for the Wallabies and Ellis Park is stunned.

Another magic ball from James O'Connor puts the winger into space and Jorgensen breaks the ankles of Manie Libbok to race away for the try.

64': Wallabies in front

Wallabies 26-22: What a comeback as the Wallabies hit the front thanks to Harry Wilson's second.

Tom Wright creates the break as the fullback splits the defence, with the number eight backing up his fullback for the try.

It comes at a cost as Wilson pulls up lame, replacing him is Langi Gleeson

58': Su special

Springboks 22-19: Game on in Johannesburg as Joseph-Aukuso snatches the intercept and races clear.

The centre latches onto Manie Libbok's long ball and runs 60 metres to reduce the lead to three.

55': Errors costing Wallabies

Springboks 22-12: The Wallabies can't find that killer blow as a trio of mistakes lets the Springboks off the hook.

This includes two stolen lineouts to the 'Boks inside their 22 as the hosts re-gain momentum.

They resume their attacking pressure and once again drop the ball close to the line.

51': Wallabies rolling

Springboks 22-12: The counter punch of the Wallabies is suddenly proving to be a headache for the Springboks.

Tate McDermott races away after a lovely ball from James O'Connor, with the Wallabies forcing another penalty on South Africa's line.

It leaves referee Ben O'Keeffe to issue the warning that the next is going to the bin.

48': Not Lenny

Springboks 22-12: The task has become harder for the Wallabies as Len Ikitau succumbs to a knee injury.

Ikitau has been favouring the knee but another hit forces him from the field.

It sees now specalist replacement winger Tate McDermott onto the field, with Andrew Kellaway shifted in.

45': Springboks can't respond

Springboks 22-12: Again, South Africa charges down the field and proves their worst enemy.

The 'Boks drive down inside the ten but drop the ball at the base of the ruck to allow the Wallabies to survive.

43': Bell hasn't sounded yet

Springboks 22-12: Angus Bell comes on and makes a sudden impact as he puts captain Harry Wilson through a gap hole for the Wallabies second try.

Wilson flies over untouched as the pass is cleared despite displeasure from the home fans.

40': Changes for Wallabies

Zane Nonggorr and Angus Bell are on for James Slipper and Taniela Tupou.

Andrew Kellaway also remains on the field, with Dylan Pietsch not returning after his big hit.

HALF TIME: SPRINGBOKS 22 - 5 WALLABIES
40': Wallabies hang on

Springboks 22-5: The Wallabies ensure they go into the break down 17 after a series of late South African attacks.

The most promising comes on the siren with a five metre maul, which is undone by a sloppy transfer.

35': Wallabies look to break out

Springboks 22-5: Andrew Kellaway comes on for Dylan Pietsch and instantly has an impact as the visitors break clear.

Kellaway links up with Tom Wright as the Wallabies break down the blitz, with the kick in behind just too deep.

The Springboks nearly turn defence into attack but the Wallabies make some desperate defence to hang on.

31': Springboks back on attack

Springboks 22-5: The South Africans power their way back on the attack as Siya Kolisi runs over Dylan Pietsch, leaving the winger needing a HIA as he clutches his jaw.

The Springboks are rolling but an obstruction halts their progress.

28': Ikitau sets up Wallabies opener

Springboks 22-5: Dylan Pietsch is over for the first try thanks to lovely work from Len Ikitau.

Ikitau doubles up his involvement after a James O'Connor offload, with the centre finding Pietsch unmarked in the corner.

24': White kick nearly delivers

Springboks 22-0: A wicked kick and bounce from Nic White has nearly delivered Australia's first points of the afternoon.

The kick springs up and just evades the chasing Joseph-Aukuso Suaalii as the Springboks hold on.

An excellent Max Jorgensen re-gather almost sets up another chance but the ball doesn't hit its mark.

21": Wallabies time to build pressure

Springboks 22-0: The Wallabies finally get a chance to throw a punch as they earn back-to-back penalties.

Fraser McReight is getting results at breakdown with two steals early, with James O'Connor kicking the ball inside the 22.

However, the throw is not straight and the chance ends before it can develop.

18': Siya in style

Springboks 22-0: Siya Kolisi adds to the dominant first quarter as the number eight dives over.

Kolisi beats two defenders in and around the ruck and adds to the onslaught.

13' Slick Springboks

Springboks 15-0: Andre Esterhuizen gets in on the fun as the Springboks run in another try.

The hosts spread the ball wide and Jesse Kriel breaks the line, with his centre partner finishing the try off.

11': Wallabies hanging on

Springboks 10-0: The Wallabies' error rate is getting punished by the hosts as the Springboks nearly get their second.

Edwin van der Merwe races onto the ball after a mistake from James O'Connor, with Dylan Pietsch bundling him into touch 20 metres out.

9': Hosts extend lead

Springboks 10-0: The hosts extend the lead through Manie Libbok's boot as the Wallabies remain on the back foot.

The Wallabies try to build field position but Malcolm Marx catches them napping at ruck time for the holding on penalty.

4': Wallabies look to stabilise

Springboks 7-0: Another dropped ball from the Aussies gives South Africa a chance, but they instantly put the ball out on the full.

A smart kick in behind by the visitors almost creates a chance, but a high tackle alleviates the pressure on South Africa's line.

The Springboks almost score again off a third regathered high ball, with Arendse stopped by Tom Wright and Max Jorgensen.

2': Instant Springboks strike

Springboks 7-0: The hosts have capitalised on an early mistake from Tom Wright and are on the attack.

Wright couldn't contain the high ball and the Springboks race into the Wallabies 22.

Kurt-Lee Arendse is the man who finishes it, diving over untouched in the corner.
