Stan Sport locked in as broadcaster for Spring Tour

Stan Sport has confirmed it will broadcast all Wallabies, All Blacks and Springboks games for the upcoming Spring Tour.

The deal will see the streaming platform secure the rights for the Spring Tour, starting for the Wallabies with their clash against Scotland on November 8.

This will be followed by highly-anticipated matches against England and Wales, along with showing the All Blacks taking on Wales, Italy, Ireland and France.

As part of the 20 international matches, the platform will show matches involving the likes of the Springboks, Argentina, Japan, Fiji, Tonga and Uruguay taking on their northern hemisphere counterparts.

“We have had a phenomenal start for Rugby on Stan Sport in 2021, and it is great to see the growing interest for the game," Stan Acting Chief Executive Officer Martin Kugeler said.

Wallabies captain Michael Hooper added: “This is a huge result for Australian Rugby fans, to now be able to watch the Wallabies all year round on Stan Sport,"

"The Spring Tour matches are always special occasions, the atmosphere at the stadiums is electric and they are always great games of footy.

"It’s been a great year for Rugby in Australia and the partnership with Stan Sport has helped immensely from the community level right through to Test matches.”
